I was diagnosed with heel spurs about 12 months ago. I bought special shoes and inserts and threw out all of my heels and slip-ons. I was told to take ibuprofin 3 tabs 3 times a day and lose weight (which would help). I could not exercise because of the pain in my legs and heels. 5 years ago my wife started to get pain in 2 fingers on her hand. For a couple of years she visited the Dr. whom diagnosed arthritis and he just prescribed various pain killers, none of which worked. Two of which have now been taken off the market because of their adverse side effects!
